Recess Former Kit

Austlift recess former kits are special lifting accessories which used together with an Austlift lifting stud and an Austlift lifting clutch. They are needed to create a hole in the concrete element, when lifting stud is mounted to the concrete. After concrete is stable, Austlift recess former is taken out and lifting clutch is used to lift the precast concrete element. Austlift recess formers are made from rubber, Each size has a different colour, which makes identification of load easier.

• Upper hole of Spread Anchor is used for connection with Austlift Ring Clutch. Bottom hole is used for reinforcement.
• Due to reinforcement, force is transmitted to precast concrete element.
• Austlift Spread Anchors can be used for lifting of precast concrete girders, plates other elements.
