Maintaining a tepid temperature of 15.6°C to 38°C as per Australian Standard AS4775 is not always possible without additional control measures. Spill Crew’s Temperature Control Valves are a temperature control measures to assist in maintaining optimum safety shower or eyewash temperature.

Scald Protection Valve
- Continuously sense and automatically purge excessively hot water to deliver tepid flushing fluid
Compact, heavy duty, corrosion resistant stainless-steel construction
Integral thermal actuator senses water temperature and modulates open to bleed off water if the temperature is above the valves set point
Freeze Protection Valve
- Continuously sense and automatically purge excessively cold water to deliver tepid flushing fluid

Installation Kit
- Whilst valves can be supplied ‘stand alone’, the installation kit allows quick and easy installation at the supply inlet of any Spill Crew eyewash, shower or combination unit.
- Kit includes barrel union, adaptor nipple, reducer nipple, tee piece and an in-line Y-strainer with 80 mesh screen to protect the valve from scale, dirt, rust or suspended solids.
- All fittings are threaded, BSP, type 316 stainless steel.
